Welcome to my blog! My name is Kathryn Starnes – most people call me Katie. I was born and raised in a small East TN town called Bristol, not to be mistaken for its sister town, Bristol, VA. In 2010, I started college at APSU in Clarksville,TN and got engaged my first semester of college. I transferred back home after the first semester since I was 6 hours away from Chris. Shortly after getting married we moved to Knoxville, TN where we continued our education and resided for 6 years. We moved to Arizona at the start of 2018 and it was the best decision my husband and I could have made!

I currently work for CVS Health as a Benefits Relationship Manager in Scottsdale, AZ. I’ve been with the company going on 7 years and love my job! Although that’s not to say I haven’t faced uphill battles along the way during my career. While working full-time at CVS Health, I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and received my M.S. from the College of Communication and Information with a concentration in advertising in 2017 and a B.A. in communication with a minor in political science. In 2011, I also graduated with an A.S. in speech communications.

I’ve worked in the field of speech communication, customer service, and management for several years now. I’ve found my biggest passion to be connecting consumers with a brand and rolling out company strategy and innovation in the workplace.

In my spare time I love to take on new adventures with my wonderful husband of 8 years, Chris and also play with my two Shih-Tzu fur-babies Pebbles and Roxy.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
